Step into the Cedar, Maple and Coniferous forest of Deer Yard Lake and you are stepping into quiet solitude. This three-bedroom log cabin is meticulously neat and well oriented. Three bedrooms offer privacy and a complete kitchen and living area (equipped with a fireplace) allows your group to gather to share stories of the day's events. Step out onto the large second level deck to barbeque, watch the northern lights or simply be quiet and listen to the night sounds of the great north. While this retreat is remote... it is also convenient. Located approximately five miles east of the Caribou Trail, you are only fifteen minutes from Superior National Golf Course and Lutsen Mountains Ski area. Interested in snowmobiling and/or cross country skiing... you can literally leave from the front door of this cabin. The state snowmobile trail is just down the road... and by skiing across Deer Yard Lake... you can pick up the groomed trails of the North Shore Cross Country Ski trail system. Maximum occupancy: Six. In addition, this is a smoke free property (inside and out). This property should be viewed and used for the peace and quiet solitude this wilderness retreat has to offer.
